20th Anniversary Celebration

Sure hope that you have registered for our 20th Housiversary Party on September 9.

 

Here are the things you need to know.

 

 The Bocce Tournament (Bocce court) hosted by Ron Ruiz. The Tournament actually begins on August 31 with the first elimination games being played beginning at 6pm.  They continue on September 7 at 7pm where we will learn who is playing in the Championship Game on September 9th at 10am.  It is all happening at the Bocce court.  Come cheer on your favorites and be part of the fun.  

 

Strut Your Mutt Parade (Gazebo/Harmony Court) hosted by Alane Gephart. Costumes are not required, nor is having a furry housemate.  We want to celebrate the cutest residents of Chancellors Glen while they show off their best behavior and fancy tricks.  You need to sign up at the clubhouse prior to the event, so we have enough treats for EVERYONE.

 

20th Anniversary Party (Clubhouse Parking Lot)  hosted by Pat Butler.

This event is for ALL residents no matter what year you joined the community. Just make sure to register and pay the $5 fee to Pat Butler BEFORE August 31 to be included.  Join us up in the clubhouse parking lot at noon for all the fun.

Each person who registers will receive a name badge/all access pass. These MUST be worn to receive food service.  You will also receive 2 drink tickets per person to be used as you need.  Additional drink tickets can be purchased or feel free to bring the beverage of your choice.  You will also receive a ticket for our Sundae Bar which will open at 3pm.

Also make sure to visit the clubhouse and locate our event station to sign-up for the party games and volunteer to help during our event.  (Many hands make light work!)

Can’t make it to the clubhouse, but still want to help? Contact a member of the Activity Committee. They can also answer any questions you might have.

 

There wil be Live Music (thanks to the Glen Jammers) which will start just before noon letting us know to gather for our feast, and what a feast it will be.  Check out this MENU.

While we dine music will play and there will be games and entertainment.  

We do have the need for propane tanks and helping hands during our event if you can provide either please sign up at the clubhouse. While there sign up to compete in our party games and win some great prizes.

We will have an exciting PIG RACE at 2pm make sure to exchange your race ticket to bet on the pig of your choice.

 

Our Clubhouse Corn-hole Tournament begins at 1:30pm we need teams to make it a competition so find a partner and sign up at the clubhouse before Sept 5th.

 

Also in your welcome packet will be a ballot for our Charity Scarecrow Competition.  We currently have 6 scarecrows competing for your donation votes.  There are some great charities and organizations hoping to get your attention.  Make sure to check out the scarecrows while attending our party.  

Around 5 pm when we have celebrated the winners of all our competitions and eaten all we could we are asking all who can to help clean up and return the parking lot and clubhouse back to pre-party condition.  Those who help will gain a reward.
