2nd Annual Food Drive, 2026
Hello Neighbors in
The Villas of Chancellor’s Glen:
We are getting ready to start our 2nd Annual Food Drive. The food drive will run from October 1, 2026 through January 31, 2026. We hope you will help us to Fight Hunger in our Bensalem Township Community. Our Bensalem neighbors need our help. Your generous donations of non-perishable foods and household necessities such as toilet paper, toothpaste, tissues, soap and shampoo, women’s sanitary products, etc. help keep shelves stocked and items available through several Bensalem Food Pantries that distribute to those in need.
Last year we were able to donate large amounts of food due to your generosity! The amount of food delivered between October and January was totally amazing! We are looking forward to your continued support for 2026!
How Can You Help?
1. Donate non-perishable food items or household essentials. Donations can be left at the VCG Clubhouse on a table set up for this purpose. Bags may be left under the table as well. Please be sure the expiration date is good before leaving your donation.
2. Donate a Gift Card to one of these preferred grocery stores: Shop Rite, Acme, Giant, Aldi We will pick up bargain deals from the store to deliver to the pantry. GIFT CARDS SHOULD NOT BE LEFT AT THE CLUBHOUSE. Please deliver them to 126 Liberty Drive.
3. If you have any tote bags or brown paper bags preferably with handles, please leave them at the collection table. These will help us keep loads light to avoid straining our delivery volunteers.
